In the days from August 17th to 18th, on the event Pyrocar for the first time has been introduced to the fire-fighting and professional public the prototype CAS 15 M1R 3000/200 on the AVIA D120 4x4 chassis. The event has traditionally taken place at the airport of Přibyslav and was visited by around 25,000 participants. The presented vehicle has an AVIA D120 4x4 chassis with wheelbase L fitted with the Cummins ISB 4.5 engine in the EURO V class and CREW cab 3 + 2 + 1. The superstructure is made of polypropylene and equipped with reduced equipment, with LED lighting. Reduced equipment is deployed on a modular shelf system and sliding equipments made of light metal alloys. The vehicle is produced in cooperation with the company AVIA Motors and Karbox, both of which are part of the industrial holding company Czechoslovak Group. With its equipment and construction is CAS designed primarily for voluntary fire brigade units. Due to the dimensions, CAS is suitable for interventions in urban areas or in historical centers.
